WTCTF26: A great success!
Hey everyone! Looks like we haven’t posted a blog post in a little while, so let’s bring it back just like WTCTF!
On Saturday 21st February 2026, we officially revived WTCTF, AFNOM’s very own in-person Capture The Flag event! With 47 attendees and 13 teams competing, the event was a great success on all fronts and we hope everyone that took part had as much fun solving challenges as we did running the event.
Writeups
As promised, our repository of challenges is now public! We’ve made all source code and associated files available (e.g. Dockerfiles) so that you can run any of the challenges from the event yourself if you wish to have a go at a later date after our infra is taken down. You can also find author solutions and writeups in case you got stuck on any challenges, or just want to see how we intended the solve.
We would love for any competitors to author their own writeups for solves they got during the CTF. If you found a different way to solve any of our challenges and want us to host your writeup publicly on our Docs, email us or ping/DM any of the @root role holders on our Discord and we can sort it. If you host the writeup on your own website/blog, we’re of course happy to link to that.
Final Scoreboard + Awards
In the end, first place came down to a single challenge-worth of points, and the rest of the prizes-winning spots were also closely contested! Every team got at least a couple of solves, and not many challenges went completely unsolved. The final scoreboard can be found below.

Congratulations to all the teams who received prizes:
